Earlier this week I was incredibly happy to know that the lovely Katrina has nominated me for the Leibster Award, which is an award that is given to blogger with less than 200 followers. The rules are as follows :

11 FACTS ABOUT ME

1. My name is Charlotte, I study History and the Uni of Leeds but come from Hull. Starting a simple one.
2. I have an addiction to green nail polishes, I have so so many.
3. I'm also a brush freak, both buying them and cleaning them.
4. My Dad is a beekeeper. Everyone always loves that one.
5. I love love love Lady Gaga (you might have guessed). I have my own telephone hat, disco ball bra and machine gun bra.
6.I once went on a night out dressed up as a carrot. I love fancy dress.
7. Me and my sister are so alike we call ourselves twinnies, but we aren't really twins boo :(
8.I love peas. Seriously, I can't get enough of them.
9. I have huge, crazy, frizzy hair which is very curly, although you wouldn't guess as it's always straight!
10. I often have dreams that I am Harry Potter and Blair Waldorf.
11. If I had one wish, I would either with for Santa to be real or to have Bernard's watch.

MY TEN QUESTIONS

1. What is your favourite thing about blogging?

Twitter and the blog chats. As much as I love writing and reading blogs but it's the community that I love the most, I've found it so welcoming and lovely!

2. Do you prefer beauty or lifestyle posts?

Beauty! I'm yet to find a lifestyle blogger from my area who could tell me cool places to go, but beauty is where my heart is, I absolutely love it and could never get bored!

3. Favourite TV show?

Diagnosis Murder or Gossip Girl. Strange mix, but I have box sets of both.

4. If you were stuck on a desert island and you could only take 1 beauty item, what would it be?

Palmers Cocoa Butter. If I was there alone I wouldn't need makeup, but I couldn't bear anything other than smooth and gorgeous smelling skin!

5. Favourite season of the year?

Winter, it has my birthday and christmas, and fluffy socks!

6. Do you prefer your birthday or Christmas?

Christmas, without a doubt! You get to share it with everyone and everyone's excited! I don't like the attention on my birthday.

7. Favourite meal?

Spag Bol! I just love ragu! If I order anything else in a restaurant I always regret it!

8. Favourite song/songs which inspire you in anyway?

Hmm, I love a bit or Destiny's Child to inspire me if I'm feeling down, or just Beyonce. Get your Sasha Fierce on ladies!

9. Favourite Disney film (or any film you liked when you were young)?

Not a Disney Film, but Anastasia is my favourite film of all time!

10. If you had to move to another place in the world and live there forever, where would it be?

Paris. I would move there right now if I could, I just love it!

11. If you could go back in time and give advice to your younger self what would it be?

Sounds cheesy but I don't think I would give any, as then I'd be different today. Maybe to not go so heavy on the hair mousse.
