new nails inc gel effect swatches...

( L-R, Soho Place, Kensington Passage)

It's official, I admit it, I have a nail polish addiction. As if we didn't know that already. I've actually decided to have a nail-free February (as in buying not wearing), as I've started to just re-buy the same colours again and again. These two are a prime example, but seriously, how gorgeous? Turquoise and Coral are easily my two favourite colours, ever, so these two new colours in one of my favourite formulations were perfect. I also really like the sort of salmony twist on the coral, something you don't see as often. With the cold outside I almost daren't type these words, but spring nails? These are perfect! Although I will be wearing them already anyway. I've raved about the formula of these before, sooo glossy a very neat application will have most fooled into thinking they're real gel, plus one coat is enough to create the opaque-ness shown above. In comparison to normal Nails Inc polishes, which are the worst for chipping I have ever known in any polish EVER, the gels really do last, I can wear them for around a week with no wear showing, which in my opinion is really good. These don't come in cheap however, at £14 each they're no guilt-free purchase. I usually try to get mine when there's offers on, I got these from ASOS with 20% student discount, but they were still a gutting £11.20 each. That said, if you're not a crazy polish buyer like me and are just looking for a new colour to add to your reasonable stash, these are worth the splurge. Just don't go buying another 10 polishes in the Models Own Sale (which is on right now, go go go!). There's more colours too which look almost as gorgeous, so there's something to float everyone's nail boat.
Wish me luck for nail-free-february, and if you want to join me and share some moral support, please let me know!

Lots of love,
Charlotte

  1. Those look so nice I love the idea of a gel effect polish and those colours are lovely, I'd like the porchester square shade in these as the original I bought was terrible and the brush was like using a toothbrush to paint my nails... Lovely review

    1. They really are so good! I have porchester square in this type too and I get so so much wear out of it, and it's ten times better than the original!

  3. Awh wow what lovely colours. I do agree that 14 is quite pricey for nail polish, I generally have a limit of 11 which is the normal nails inc price. These are so tempting though! Xx
